Update 2026.0 (March 15, 2026))
- Better readability: Improved display of measurements (Text: line distance, distance from picture plane).
- Parallax Correction: New “Secondary Scale” function for more precise measurements across different depth planes (compensates for the change in size of objects that are further away or closer to the camera)
- Get & Reset Scale: One-click retrieval of scale factors from selected objects or instant reset to the reference plane (Factor 1).
- Create Custom (C): Enter manual values for rounded construction dimensions; saves both original and target values in the name: 4.0 (C) (orig. 3.95) (1.016).
- Set Reference: Creates a distinct Green Master Reference to clearly mark the base scaling in your scene.
- Set Picture Command: Instantly restores the link to the reference plane (the virtual plane aligned with your photo) after reloading a scene.
- Smart Naming: Quick identification in the Object Manager (the hierarchical list of all scene elements) to distinguish reference from depth-shifted measurements and custom measurements.
- Dynamic Thickness: Thickness parameter simultaneously controls line weight and font size for optimal readability at any zoom level.

C4D – DM Measure 2026.0 (Zip-Download)
DM-Measure is a plugin suite for Cinema 4D which consists of three plugins (DM-Measure, DM-Surface, DM-Photo Measure) with which you can simply edit, render and visualize measurements or the angle of the Measure Construct Tool in Cinema 4D, measure photos and calculate surface areas.
With the new Preset System you can save your styles and call them back later for reuse.
It has a lot of settings to fit the appearance of the measurements. In addition, it is now also possible with a new command to calculate and display the area of an object or a polygon selection.
In the 5th update, DM measure has received a new tool, the so-called DM-Photo Measure with which you can measure distances in photos and display them. This new tool can also be used, for example, to bring floor plans into the correct scale in order to be able to start modeling quickly and efficiently..

DM-Measure 2026.0 is the final update for Cinema 4D R19 and R20. This version will remain available for purchase as a Legacy Build for those versions, but all future updates and features will focus exclusively on newer Cinema 4D releases.
